Imagining Queer
Aging Futures
This research project explores the visions, hopes, fears and dreams of the future and the everyday practices of LGBTQ+ people above the age of 50 in Sweden, Poland and Estonia.
The online exhibition will showcase objects and art works made by LGBTQ+ research participants aged 50+. The project started with workshops in collaboration with a local artist or art educator. The workshops included creative exercises which served as prompts for reflection and conversation on the future and aging.
