Barbara told:

The key is a good metaphor (...) You can interpret it on many levels, that these are keys that are different life possibilities that can open various doors before you. I think there's both an optimistic and pessimistic interpretation. The optimistic one is such that you search, open, look in. The negative one is such that you make various choices, these solutions decrease, until at some point you have fewer and fewer of them, and at some point you have no choice at all. And this knocking, this last knocking, because it's a bit like knocking on the door of some great mystery, you know, and I think this can also very strongly relate to my experience of death and that I can die. I think it's fear, yes, it's fear."

About the project in Poland

Art educator Monika Mizielińska facilitated creative workshops where participants explored queer aging through artistic expression. Using materials provided on-site, they created diverse artworks reflecting their visions, hopes, and concerns about the future.
