When you wrote me that we'd talk about the work too, well I looked at it and I said, damn, this is some terrifying vision. But then I said, yes, of course I see on this Facebook, I see in my actions, I hear what people also say. That this is still current. (...) I have in myself, well, probably such resignation. That's one thing, and two, that I always laugh before elections and always write that so many have already, well, screwed me over, that I don't believe them either. And indeed it turns out the same, right? That nothing changes, that nothing happens. (...) All the time, there's also this hope in me. Resignation yes, but there's also this hope that something might change.
About the project in Poland
Art educator Monika Mizielińska facilitated creative workshops where participants explored queer aging through artistic expression. Using materials provided on-site, they created diverse artworks reflecting their visions, hopes, and concerns about the future.
