January told:
Sad, happy life. (...) I put a lot of heart into it, a lot of my biography. All these people are no longer alive. (...) Above all memories. There's gratitude. I owe my life to my mother. I owe my sister for inviting me to the States. Through her I got to know life. (...) The biography was sad. Because this war period. And later happy life. (...) What did I want to express? I wanted to express that I liked it just like now on television I watched, there was Katarzyna Kasia's award, who later said she loves her daughter. And would only very much wish for peaceful times. Well, and we know what times we live in. And likewise when I was making this, it was with such empathy, that we live in turbulent times. And I wanted to emphasize that.
About the project in Poland
